Many years ago, Renton's pottery mentor, Jack Troy, found himself exploring the vibrant streets of New York City. Amidst the hustle and bustle of the Big Apple, Jack serendipitously discovered a quaint pottery studio. The potter, noticing Jack's admiration for one of her exquisite glazes, struck up a conversation with him. In an act of true generosity, she shared her unique glaze recipe. Grateful yet hurried, Jack accepted the recipe, but in his excitement, he forgot to note the potter’s name or the exact location of the studio. Thus, the recipe returned home with him, a cherished mystery, forever Lost in New York.

All cups are handmade and one of a kind. You will receive a signature ceramic coffee cup similar to the cups pictured but there are no two the same. Variations in size, colour, and markings is what makes them unique!

Pottery For The Planet Cups are made of ceramic and must be handled with care. Ceramic will crack if knocked or dropped.

Specifications are approximate because although we do our best to keep things uniform being handmade you can expect variations in size, weight, shape, texture, pattern, and volume. Pottery For The Planet Cups are designed to fit into most cup holders in cars and prams.

The most gorgeous pieces 🩷🩵

I made a special trip on my last day of visiting Noosa, to their warehouse/showroom and it was worth the bus & walk!!
I bought x7 12oz travel mugs with heatbands & silicone lids; they were the most perfect gifts to take home to the UK 🇬🇧
I first saw some of the range in the visitor centre and I’m so glad I made the effort to go to the warehouse as the staff were so friendly & helpful, plus they have their ‘seconds’ available which are so well priced and still beautiful; some are so close to perfect!
On my return to Oz I’ll undoubtedly be back to purchase more items for my new home 😌
