Too hot to handle? No Problem! Get your fingertips on our range of 100% silicone Heat Bands, Made in Three colours- Black, White, and Cream. These ribbed Heat Bands provide you with extra grip and the freedom to match your favourite coloured Heat Band to your favourite glaze of Travel Cup!

Our Heat Bands come in one size which will fit your 6oz, 8oz, 12oz Travel Cups & 16oz Iced Coffee Cups - not the 4oz Mac Cups.

Please Note: Our Pink and Purple heatbands are slightly thinner than our regular heatbands.

This silicone heat band effectively protects hands from hot beverages while maintaining a secure, comfortable grip. Customers said it "works perfectly" and is "easy to take on and off." I recently ordered my first pottery for the planet cup ( in a mystery cup promotion) and grabbed a heat band as well.

I’m not only thrilled with my gorgeous cup, but the vibrant heat band is perfect for even the hottest of beverages!

I took it for a run at my favourite local vegan bakery with some steaming soy chai.

A steaming hot chocolate from this beautiful 16 ounce cup is one of my daily Winter pleasures. I like my hot chocolates HOT and the band adds comfort temperature-wise and protects the cup in my bag when I’m on the move.

Bands of heat

Heat bands are always useful. Sometimes with the larger cups, I wish they were a bit wider. Best thing to go with keep cups.

Kind on the hands

When you just need that hot cuppa, but its that little bit too hot to hold. This band fits the bill and makes it just right.

In Love!!

I purchased my 12oz travel cup while on holiday in Queenstown and immediately found that the cup takes on some heat. I ordered the heat band and now the cup is PERFECT. Perfect little things

I always order my coffee very hot or extra hot as I hate lukewarm coffee. These bands are perfect to protect my hand from the heat. It must be the way they're designed with all the grooves. I really like them, and that they have matching colours for the lids as well.

Do I need to buy a lid separately or does it come with my cup or bowl?

Every Travel Cup, Iced Coffee Cup, and Travel Bowl comes with a silicone lid included. You do not need to buy one separately when you purchase a cup or bowl. Replacement lids are for situations where you want a spare, need to replace a lost or damaged lid, or want a lid in a different colour.

Which replacement lid size do I need?

Travel Cup Lids come in three sizes. Small fits the 4oz Piccolo Cup, Regular fits the 6oz, 8oz, and 12oz Travel Cups, and Large fits the 16oz Iced Coffee Cup.

Note that lids do not fit Seconds cups and the Large size does not carry Pottery For The Planet branding.

Travel Bowl Lids are separate and come in Small (fits the small Travel Bowl) and Large (fits the large Travel Bowl).

Which cups does the Heat Band fit?

Heat Bands fit the 6oz, 8oz, and 12oz Travel Cups and the 16oz Iced Coffee Cup. They do not fit the 4oz Piccolo Cup.

One size covers all compatible cups. If you drink long blacks, tea, or anything that heats the ceramic significantly, a heat band makes a noticeable difference to how comfortable the cup is to hold.

What colours are the lids and heat bands available in?

All accessories come in black, white, and cream, matching the lids that ship with Travel Cups and Travel Bowls. It is also a good opportunity to mix things up if you want a different colour on your cup or bowl.

Are the lids and heat bands dishwasher safe?

Yes, all silicone lids and heat bands are dishwasher safe. Hand washing will help extend their life over time, but they are designed for regular use and will handle the dishwasher with normal use.
