All ceramic bud vases are handmade and one of a kind. You will receive a vase similar to the vases pictured, but no two are the same. Variations in size, colour and markings are what make them unique! Be sure to scroll through all of the pictures to see examples.

Pottery For The Planet Vases are made of ceramic and must be handled with care. Ceramic will crack if knocked or dropped.

We will replace any item damaged in transit, provided you notify us within 24 hours of your delivery being marked as received
To claim a transit replacement: retain all original packaging, photograph the damage alongside the packaging, and email hello@potteryfortheplanet.com with the subject line BROKEN IN TRANSIT followed by your invoice number

The vases in the range are organised into four size tiers. Mini, Small, Medium, and Large. The size of this vase is indicated on the product page. Mini vases are under 8cm tall and best for a single stem or incense. Small vases are slightly larger and suit a few sprigs or a single longer stem. Medium vases work for small posies and fragrance sticks. Large vases are statement pieces suited to bigger floral arrangements or to stand alone.

It depends on the size and opening of the vase. Mini and Small vases with narrow openings suit single stems, dried flowers, and incense sticks. Medium vases suit small posies and fragrance reeds. Large vases with wider openings are suited to florist bouquets and longer stemmed flowers. No two vases are identical. Each one is handmade and fired individually, so the glaze colour, depth, and markings will be similar to the photo but will have their own natural variation. Specifications are also approximate. That variation is part of what makes handmade ceramics worth collecting and worth grouping together on a shelf.

Yes, and it is one of the most popular ways to style the collection. Grouping two or three vases of different sizes in complementary glazes works well on a mantle, shelf, or dining table. Because every piece is handmade and slightly different, a grouped display always looks considered rather than uniform. Mixing sizes within the same glaze or mixing glazes within the same size tier both work well.

Yes. Mini and Small vases with narrow openings are particularly well suited to incense sticks and fragrance reeds, holding them upright without needing a separate holder. Medium vases with narrower necks also work for fragrance reeds. If you are specifically buying for this purpose, check the rim diameter on the product page to make sure the opening suits what you plan to use.
