What is The Velo Project?

"The Velo Project is a Sunshine Coast cafe delivering a food & coffee experience that comes from a place of high quality, sustainability and passion. We serve simple honest food and beverages by people who care, with a focus on fresh and locally sourced. It is an off-esplanade eatery:

'where a group of talented creatives from around the globe bring life to international brands, simple fresh food and artisan espresso'. 

We have worked in hospitality forever and wanted to pour our hearts into something that was our own! We are proud to say we have tripled in size, evolved with the food trends and learnt so much through surviving a pandemic as a small business."

What is the space like?

"The Velo Project lives in a former garage, now regularly brimming with vintage treasures, a dog or two (they are dog friendly!) and of course, farm-fresh food and quality coffee. Mismatched chairs, an open kitchen and loads of character await you."

What steps are The Velo Project taking to be more sustainable?

"We recycle, food scraps are fed to our chooks, keep cups are encouraged and our coffee grinds are collected by customers for their gardens."

What do you love about Pottery For The Planet?

"The glaze colours, we love it’s a local company and they are a quality made product!!"
