Hand Thrown Pottery Mugs 

Our potters have been busy in the studio crafting and glazing these hand-thrown pottery mugs.

This Glacier glaze is a beautiful aqua glaze running over deep white. Glacier may vary from soft green through to bright blue just like the face of an ancient glacial ice shelf.

All hand thrown pottery mugs are one of a kind. You will receive a mug similar to those pictured but there are no two the same, with variation in size, colour, and markings - but that's what makes them unique! 

Pottery For The Planet hand-thrown pottery mugs are made of ceramic and must be handled with care. We high-fire all our mugs for added durability, but all pottery will crack if knocked or dropped.
Specifications are approximate because although we do our best to keep things uniform being handmade you can expect variations in size, weight, shape, texture, pattern, and volume. 

Small-   height 8-9 cm, volume - 236ml, weight - 180-220g
Medium - height 9-10 cm, volume - 354ml, weight - 220-260g
Large - height 11-12 cm, volume - 473ml, weight - 260- 320g

We guarantee that all of our products leave our studio in perfect condition ready to be put to use and we package them with care but sometimes things break. Upon opening your order please be sure to check that there are no cracks that have occurred in transit. We will replace all items that have been broken in transit, so here's what you need to do:

  • Retain all original packaging as proof of your order being broken in transit
  • Take a picture of your item with its original post packaging showing the damage
  • Notify us within 24 hours of receiving your package. Send us an email titled BROKEN IN TRANSIT #_ _ _ _(invoice number) to Attach your photo, briefly explain the problem and include your Full Name and best contact number.
Please note: You must send notification of damage that has occurred in transit within 24 hours of parcel tracking showing as delivered. We require a picture taken with the original packaging as proof of damage in transit. It is up to you to look after your ceramic goodies once it is in your care. We cannot be responsible for damage to your items that happens once they have been taken out into the world so make sure you check your ceramics as soon as you open your package.

* Our ceramics cannot be exchanged or refunded for change of mind.
* Broken ceramics will not be replaced unless original packaging is kept as proof of your item being broken in transit and notification of damage is received within 24 hours of parcel tracking showing as delivered.
